Here are the shows people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC1, 9pm)

It’s baaaaack! And we get two helpings of it this weekend, lucky us. After the contestants and partners were introduced a few weeks back, the competition begins in earnest tonight. We’re backing Laura Whitmore, obvs. #strictly

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

President Michael D Higgins joins Ryan tonight to discuss life in the Áras. Actor John Connors will talk about his new documentary on the history of the Traveller community, and Paralympians Ellie Keane and Niamh McCarthy share their Rio experience. #latelate

Heat (RTÉ2, 10pm)

How about a movie to settle you in to the weekend? In this classic crime film, a group of professional bank robbers lead by Robert De Niro start to feel the heat (get it) from detective Al Pacino. Also starring Val Kilmer and Jon Voight.

Everybody’s talking about: GBBO

bakeoff Mark Bourdillon / BBC Mark Bourdillon / BBC / BBC

Are we all OK after yesterday’s news that a) Mary Berry is leaving the show when it moves to Channel 4, and b) Paul Hollywood is staying? Because there’s more.

According to the Mirror, the BBC is plotting to launch another rival baking show with Mary and hosts Mel and Sue – and they’re eyeing ex-Saturday Kitchen host James Martin to replace Paul. Watch this space.
